The shoes sport a predominantly upper constructed from a combination of suede and mesh. Purple accents are visible on the tongue, inner lining, logos, and as specs on a classic white midsole. The shoe is crafted of suede and patent leather and features a few zippers along each heel. Metallic silver can be found on the ankle and the laces bear stars which makes things very interesting. The white vulcanized outsole rounds this look out and if you were asics kayano interested so far these are limited to only 500 pair to be released at ZoZoTown in November.

These look to usurp the onslaught of Cool Grey Jordans that have been releasing as of late. It s still too early to say exactly what the front of the shoe looks like but its a safe bet to say that the tonal grey look will be what this is all about. And that s just fine with us. The collaboration takes a fairly simple approach to the shoe design and trust that the bright purple will carry the silhouette. A mixture of black suede and nylon cover the upper, while hints of white and grey cover the outsole. The Alvin Purple Asics Gel Lyte III gets its name from a 1973 Australian comedy and if that s not interesting enough consider how the asics gt 1000 shoes were originally introduced to the world via a 3D image printed in their magazine in April.The black suede and mesh design also gets hits of purple suede and microsuede to break up the monotony and of course a few shades of grey are mixed in for good measure. The freckled laces look great in the mix also and while we wait on a solid release date feel free to debate the finer points of this design. Only 276 pairs are set to go up for sale so these wont be around that long when they do hit retailers.
