I hate to say it, since I wish MS Mesos would actually work like a miracle to create a fantasy and make it go away immediately. But no matter what, bellyaching within the lag on this forum and demanding sudden shift and I mean right f-ing NAO will do zilch to solve the matter. Begging won't help either. I understand.
Do what I do, if you possibly can, and perform during less busy times. That is your only real hope to alleviate the lag issue in the high population.
You are gonna need to deal with some virtually excruciating lag if you play at this time, and there is absolutely NOTHING you can do about it regrettably. They already put up the events for this catastrophic funnel to everything new occurring all at one time. The floodgate is available. . .gonna have to let it run its program.
Even worse, they drifted this in throughout the very popular annual event of the game, which is that the Maplemas content, where a great deal more folks are on vacation off school, off work to get a good few weeks or more. That's my theory on why it's so very poor with overcrowding at this time. For those who do not understand, buy Maplestory Mesos is a skill you'll be able to toggle on / off which greatly affects the ability Angel Ray.
As it was off, Angel Ray take forward and strikes a particular number of dinosaurs, 4 traces of damage, and as soon as it's on - Angel Ray strikes with 8 traces of harm. In a nutshell, when toggled on, you couldn't use any skill besides Teleport, and Angel Ray. A while later, RED came together, and explorers changed marginally, including Angel Ray and it's functions.
Seeing as a lot of bishops complaned about needing to turn it off to buff, and then back on (and dealing with a short casting cartoon could be deadly in a battle), The skill was changed to allow the Bishops to utilize any enthusiast skill (The attacks are limited to AR and teleport for this day). Now, this is really the short version. Angel Ray currently does 5 traces, and 10 if the ability is around, and it has other impacts on the player while it's off and on that I did not mention, but it's irrelevent in this particular discussion.
Now here comes the important part; for a certain period, Bishops were able to use bishop buffs, but not Beginner type abilities (therfore not able to use Echo of hero, and link abilities such as Terms and Conditions and Knight's Watch). After a number of months that was fixed (by enabling bishops to utilize beginner skill. FUN FACT: Bishops for this, can utilize Oz's Flame Gear even tho it's technically an active attack ability).
Now 5th job is here, and we did not get an attack ability, we obtained Benediction - a kickass buff. Benediction Is enabled in Rightously Indignant mode. Why can not we utilize Mana Overload, and Rope Lift when it's on?! I wrote all of this to make a point - eventualy if it's not an attacking skill - it's supposed to be allowed in Rightously Indignant mode. It happens every time. Arguably the sole 5th job skill that shouldn't be allowed is Erda Nova because it does hurt, but I think even this will be allowed.
In the last, all you skills need MapleStory two Mesos to improve and level up, which means you can go here to purchase mesos and other useful items, maplestory2 mesos are your very best partner!
